Catechesis is a responsibility of the entire Christian community. This is should not be the work of catechists and priests alone, but of the whole community of the faithful. The Christian community follows the development of catechetical processes, for children, young people and adults, as a duty that involves and binds it directly. (GDC 220) A fully Christian community can exist only when a systematic catechesis of all its members takes place and when an effective and well developed catechesis of adults is regarded as the central task of the catechetical enterprise.” (ACCC, no. 25).

Acts of the Apostles Bible Study
Begins September 11The Acts of the Apostles provides us more than a history of the First Christians - it is the story about the Early Church with the Holy Spirit as the protagonist. Christ did not leave His Apostles alone - He sent the Holy Spirit to guide, instruct and equip them. Enrich and deepen your faith as you learn how the Apostles continued Christ’s mission on earth through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Join us for Acts: The Spread of the Kingdomat St. Francis Xavier in Stillwater beginning on September 11 at 1:00pm or 6:30pm in the Parish Hall and continuing every Tuesday. This is a 20-week study that will be completed in two 10-week sessions. The first session will begin in September and the second session will begin in January. I will order workbooks for all those registered by September 4.
